Altrusa is a worldwide non-profit organization. Altrusa of Ruidoso, NM, chartered in 1970, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of members whose goal is to improve the quality of life in our community.

Our Projects

In Altrusa, we work to support literacy and to better our community through service projects and volunteerism. Some of our projects include Annual Low-Cost Mammograms, Scholarships for Returning Students, and Books for Headstart Children.
